Last weekend, we celebrated Nicole's birthday with a yummy lunch and homemade cake. As an activity, the kids colored/baked Shrinky Dinks - it brought back fond memories ... I remember loving those things! Happy 2nd Birthday Nicole!
On Sunday, I took Zachary to Fairytale Town ... he had fun, but I think he's about to outgrow that park. In the little kids area, he climbed up to one of his favorite slides and said,"When I sit on top, my feet are already on the bottom." He did enjoy the bigger slides though - and of course anything that seems naughty like climbing up a Mother Goose statue and over watering plants.
Now let's end with some self-deprecating humor... it seems speech impediments run in the family...
Case #1: Zachary is writing a card
Zachary: Mama, does birthday have a TH or a F or a PH?
Case #2: Zachary is making a word search.
Zachary: How do you spell 'animal'?
Me: Sound it out
Zachary: Can you say it for me? Say it slowly.
Me: animal
Zachary (writes down A-N-M): Say that again?
James: animal
Zachary: How come when mom says it, it sounds like an O and when dad says it, it sounds like an L? Which one is it?

Hahaha...ask him to spell "apple", "shoulder" and "wolf" as you sound it out for him. $10 bucks says the letter 'O' comes out.
There are 2 photos of which your son is levitating. He is like an X-men. Also, pulling the yawn trick at age 4 is impressive. A true laaaadies man.
