Happy 5 months to Zachary!
This weekend, we went swimming at a friend's house. We also had some friends over for a BBQ at our place.
Now, this is probably something only a mother could get excited about. I have 2 friends that had their babies potty trained by 18 months (both girls.) They said that they could read their babies' cues, and predict when she needed to sit on the potty. Both of them started this 'training' when the babies were able to keep dry overnight. Well. Zachary has been dry overnight since he was 3 months old. He doesn't seem to pee in his sleep. So after his morning nap, I took him to the bathroom, and plopped him down on the potty ...
We saved a diaper!

lol... to cute
Yup, that is one of the signs, having a dry diaper for more than a few hours! How cute is that picture of him sitting on the throne. LOL! Good job Zach for making shiiko in the potty!
cuuuuuuuuuuute!
AWWWW....how cute of Zachary on zee potty.
Johnathan always pees a bucket load of pee during the night cause he drinks a bottle of milk right before bed.
Great pics and daddy looks so tired!
Wow, that's awesome. Good for Zachary, maybe he'll be trained early.
He is such a cutie!!
i remember my first birthday party too.
that picture on the toilet is hilarious.
wow! Zach is a big boy now
Good job on the potty training. Good luck <3
I wonder how Zach figured out what he was supposed to do. I mean, for example, you've plopped him down on, say, the sofa before. Yet presumably he didn't pee on the sofa. Is there something about a potty that naturally suggests "pee in me"?
Give that kid more water!
I've talked this over with some friends. We've all agreed. Your baby needs to be in some commercials somewhere. He's way too cute to be wasted away in some pics on Xanga.
In addition, I hope you don't plan to show pics of his first dookie in that weird plastic contratoption.
Awww and WOW - Devon is 20mths and only just started telling me 'Poo' today - LOL
Wow! That's awsome! Derek keeps dry for the first part of the night, so maybe we can do the same! Oh, you give me such hope! Thank you so much!!!!!! I'm so glad I read your site.
Good job saving money on the diaper. Invest that money to pay for his therapy thirty years from now.
I'm sure Zachary appreciates you putting that picture online. Careful - when he's old enough, he may do the same to you.
hahahahahah!!!hhahaha you took a picture of the pee as proof. He's soooo cute. You're so lucky to have him and he's lucky to have you. Better watch out, he might become a heart breaker!
WOW ur lil boy is hella cute. How many months is he? I have a baby boy that is 7 months! Well u're very lucky to have him...he will be a heartbreaker!
in that picture on teh toilet, it looks like you guys braided his hair or gave him a topknot.
we have that SAME potty!!! its great because its so big rachaels knees arent up her nose!! hahaha!
anyway, congrats for him going potty. we started rachael really early and almost had her potty trained by two but then she just stopped. now we are working on it again and she hasnt worn diapers for over a week now
. well, i lie, except at sleep times. shes not ready for that yet.
those are great pictures!!
*hugs*
That's a great idea.
My roommate's son was in the process of getting potty trained during the summer. He was 9 or 10 months at the time and he was pooping in the toilet. Might as well start 'em early!
Smart kid. You may have a genius on your hands!
Plus that is the cutest kid I have seen ever!
Good for Zachary! Looks like you will have no problem potty training him! Abby has this Bear in the Big Blue House video that teaches all about how to use the potty. I let her watch then, then bring out the potty. She just laughs at it! You have a little smarty arty on your hands! Good for him!
