Hi everyone! Two weekends ago, I went to a friend's baby shower - she's having a baby boy in July. Oh - and get this. Can you believe Zachary got sick again (fever) this Sunday? Good news is that he recovered quickly. Hopefully no one caught anything from him Saturday because we went to a BBQ at a friends house. They cooked ribs and it was SO good. As in, better-than-restaurant good. If their baby gets sick, we probably won't get invited over anymore and that would be very bad.
Here is a story. When I was younger, I'd wear really strange clothes because they were a good price. I specifically recall some purple and teal jeans for $3 each. When I complained to my Dad, he told me,"These are Gloria Vanderbilts - it's a good brand. Wear them." I swore I would never do that to my own kids ... but the lure of a good sale is hard to resist. So Zach has lots of 2-piece sets, where one piece is missing. And while $2 for a piece is a great deal, it is hard as heck to match. This specific outfit Zach is wearing is really bad. Many people mistook Zachary for a girl - and most people were pretty confident too. I think it's because of the shelf bra. We finally took Zachary to get a haircut (his second!) to make him look more boyish.
For Mother's Day, I received a cork board with a hand print on it from Zachary and a spa gift certificate from my husband. Then we went out to eat (Saturday night because we can't use the Entertainment card on Mother's Day/Sunday... is there a theme here?)
As for houses ... we found something I like, but it's on .13 acres which is pretty small. Plus, it costs $700k, which is over our budget. California is just too expensive! And to top it off, we can't find daycare. James called all the daycares in the Folsom Yellow pages and nothing was available except one place that did not have a kitchen (We'd have to prepare snacks and a cold lunch for Zachary.) Plus, they let the kids watch videos. Bah!

cute how he "covers the gun" LOL!
i hope he's better and no more fevers!
I hope Zach feels better. Good luck house hunting. Both CA and NY are sooooo expensive!
The chest out, delicately outstretched arm, back against the gate, far away gaze pose does not help him look like a boy.
The hair cut makes him look a LOT older.
I hate shelf bras.
lol.....did zach censor himself or did you guys censor him?
he does look much older with the new hair cut. he's always such a cute and happy baby.
zach DOES NOT look like a girl!! geez .. those ppl ...
anyways the photo of him coverin himself made me laugh .. hes a cutie
he looks sooo big (tall) now! oh, where did you get his tub? i've been looking for a bigger one, but i cant find any. thanks!
HAHAHA...that picture by the gate is soooo funny. Supplemented by Sofichan's comment. I'm dying here in laughter. And what is up with the shelf bra shirt? For overdeveloped toddler girls?! I like his or her haircut - he or she looks much bigger.
hi, fellow xangan stopping by...
Awe, your baby is so cute. Spas are so much fun.
i dont know, guys. i see a good amount of camel toe on that boy.
and zach shouldn't feel bad about being mistaken for being a girl. i had that problem until 7th grade and look how well i turned out.
Hehe, don't feel bad. As long as the shelf bra isn't uncomfy, he doesn't seem to mind the mismatched clothes. He is cute, cute, cute!!! Sorry to hear about the tedious daycare/house hunting - I hope something perfect will turn up soon!
You have an absolutely beautiful little boy! I was just scrolling through, take care!
he's the happiest boy alive...
naked pictures! lol mom i'll smile the the camera but don't let them see the goods
Never make him wear that horrible shirt again! (Or before long, there will be no gonads for him to conceal....)
Hehe, your boy is so cute. I like the haircut!
