I enjoyed a nice 4 day weekend - yea! HAPPY 4th of JULY! We kicked off the weekend with a game of Settlers that lasted until 2am. (I won, although the other players seem to think I made some deviant/deceptive manuevers.) On Saturday, Zach's friend Kaitlyn came over for a play date. Zach shoveled water onto Kaitlyn. She then took a watering can and poured water over his head. At that point, Zach got out of the pool and tried to get the hose!
For 4th of July, we had some friends over for a lunch BBQ. Zachary was miserable - I think it was too hot. He was so lethargic. I went to another BBQ that evening, but James stayed home with Zach, who had a slight fever. (Arg ... he is always sick!)
Today, James went on a 45 mile bike ride, where 2 of his fingers went numb. I stayed home with Zach (still sick and sleepy) while I watched Sex in the City. Season 6 part 1 ... I still need part 2. Luckily, my birthday is coming up... hint, hint!
Tomorrow my baby will be 15 months ... and the day after that, my sister will be 28! A spring chicken and a chicklette.

I hope Zach feels better soon!!! James was always like that; getting sick all the time..... Hope Zach's stage goes by quickly! Just think, later on in life, he'll have a better immune system.
Looks like you had a blast Fourth of July.
I hope Zachary feels better. Nathan used to be sick all the time and it used to drove me nuts....sometimes its a phase..as their immunity is still building up.

Did he like the pineapple pool? I see it in the edge of a photo although it was not mentioned. It's time for another haircut for Zachary...starting to look like a girl again.
Happy 4th of July to you! I hope your baby is feeling better by now. Too bad he gets sick often, but at least they are small sicknesses that pass fairly quickly. I love how you find him all these playdates. I think the social interaction (and following pics) are great! Btw... that numbness from James' biking sounds kinda painful.

This is Chrissie, your cousin-in-law. James gave me your link of all the wonderful pictures of Zach! He sure is a happy boy! I've also noticed that Zach and Auggie have a lot of the same toys...the sand table, pool, train toy with the blocks that spin inside....and many others that were in the pictures. It's funny to me...
I hope Zach is feeling better! AUggie doesn't do well in heat either...he gets heat rashes and very sleepy and cranky. I don't blame them, it was HOT last weekend!
