What a busy and fun weekend! We started the weekend early by flying to Seattle for my cousin Jerry’s wedding. My parents (from the east coast) met us at the airport, as their flight landed just a few minutes before ours. After settling into our hotel, we headed to the rehearsal dinner … delicious Thai food. I got to meet my Gannon (cousin’s son) and Duke (cousin’s husband) for the very first time!
The following morning, we went to Pike’s Place and the Space Needle.
The wedding was in a beautiful church … and the reception was conveniently located at the hotel. Unfortunately, I had another episode of food poisoning and missed most of the reception. I heard it was lots of fun though – complete with a slide show, bouquet/garter toss, money dance, a serenade, lot sof toasts, and dancing! The last James remembered, he was doing shots with the bride and groom. Congratulations Jerry and Britt! Have lots of fun on your honeymoon in Tahiti! Bora Bora is my all-time favorite place to vacation.

Here’s some unsolicited advice to those without kids … TRAVEL NOW. We couldn’t coordinate our schedule with his nap time, so Zachary was extremely fussy.

I love that last pick.. Zachary looks like he’s straight up chillin, LOL. Sorry for the stalkage, just a random MIT guy who knows Sophia and Denise, lol.
Awwww cuuute picture on the bottom.
Wow the brides bouquet is very
beautiful…. okay, xanga cut me off…
traveling w/tots is hard, especially when they’re older, entertainment is a must for them. it’s hard work. but i agree, travel now if you don’t have the kiddos.
Cute pictures! You guys have a ton of weddings! LOL
Advice taken. Just got back from Malaysia. That’s officially 5 countries in 3 monthes. Whew! See you this weekend!
he looks pretty laid back in your last picture.
i can only imagine how tough it is to travel with kids.
nice pictures….i had the sleep/nap time probelem when i traveled to hawaii 2 months ago…it was hard because we’re from the eastcoast.
lots of caucasian/asian mixes in the family, eh? they make the BEST mixes. SOOOOOOOO cute!
Food poisoning AGAIN? Who are you…Alice??
See you Wednesday night! Get the Oreos out!
The west coast has the bluest skies I have ever seen……why is that?!!!
Beautiful pics—I love the last pic of daddy and son. Zach is chillaxing like a pro.
Great advice for childless couples. I’m grateful Johnnie is getting older so when we do travel(in a couple of years)he’ll be out of his tantrum stage. I’m definitely doing some heavy travelling before we plan on baby #2.
Have a great Monday.
hahahahahaha….hands crossed behind his head – so who taught Zachary to be such a good relaxer??
i love the last picture. just lounging at the airport. too cute!
Ugh, food poisoning again… Are you sure it’s the food or is your body not feeling well? (Ack, you’re pregnant!! Morning sickness!) Okay, sorry to alarm you like that.
I do hope you’re okay though.
The wedding looks like a lovely affair, esp. since you got to see a lot of family again. I hope no more long-distance travelling till Zachary is old enough to nap okay on planes and such!
Hey I love the picture on the lower right with your hubby and your son’s arms behind his head as if “it has been a long day” LOL! cute!
i like the 2nd pic of Zachary getting spun around. His hair looks cool.
