  • Here are some pictures of my family’s visit. My parents stayed for the entire week, while my sisters and their boyfriends came for the weekend. I hadn’t seen one of my sisters in a long time because she was in Singapore (business) for 3 months. She brought back some Chinese books and a DVD for Zachary. We ended the visit with an had an all-you-can-eat sushi feast and a BBQ! .

Last Friday, Zachary went in for his 15 month check-up. He’s a little guy  … 31″ (40%) and 21 lbs (5%.) And he still doesn’t say a single word. I hope there are girls out there who like short, mute boys!

We are packing and getting ready to move. By next week, I hope to have our current house listed (for rent.). On a sad note, my friend Carol’s father passed away this week (cancer). The memorial is a celebration of his life rather than a mourning of his death - he requested people wear colorful clothing. Carol is planting a memorial garden in honor of her father in her backyard. I think it is a wonderful idea.

  • i cant beleive he’s 15 months now!

  • everyone loves a good mute boy.

  • Aww, 15 mos. already?!!!

I’m sure he’ll talk soon. Johnnie didn’t speak until he was 2 years old; his dad was also a late talker….me, on the other hand was tattletelling on people by the time I was 1.

Patience~ He’ll talk and grow when the time is right.

  • Boys develop slower than girls, so I don’t think his height is a problem…I remember my cousin of a cousin was average height, then SHOT up to like 190+!! OMG, talk about a growth spurt…. =)

Zach is so adorable as always.

  • aww, Zachary’s always so cute and photogenic. i heard that children who learn to speak at a later age have more intellectual capabilities

  • with a smile like that, what girl can resist, don’t worry mom~

  • he is a cutie!

  • Zachary’s hair is getting lighter and lighter…so cute.

I think wearing colourful clothing to a memorial is a nice idea…

  • I bet you Zachary will sprout after he gets older and will end up as a DJ like Howard Stern!  :)

  • Better no words than foul words.

  • Family reunion!  What fun. :)   It’s great that both you and your husband keep in touch with both sides of the family fairly often.  Awww… didn’t realize Zachary was a tiny tot – all the more cuter at this age.  They have their entire teenagehood to tower over their Moms. :P

  • but he was an early walker right? my son is also a little on the lighter side. but the drs told me it was because he started walking earlier than some and therefore burns more calories. he’s really cute. is he half korean?
