Zachary had a great Halloween. We went to a bunch of houses in our neighborhood. Zach would get candy, hold up his basket and say,"More? More?" He ended up getting a few pieces at each house. Then he'd put down his basket and blow the person a kiss good-bye ... people just loved it! He got thirsty running up and down the driveways, so at one house, he did the "more milk" sign. The person said,"Oh my gosh - that's like the Meet the Fockers kid!" At home, Zachary thought it was great fun to move his candy from one basket to another. He ate a mini granola bar for breakfast the next day, and the rest of the candy went to work with Dad.
This week was bad. Zachary had the 24 hour stomach flu. I cleaned up his rug (wah!) before he went to bed. The next morning,. when I opened the door to his bedroom I was greeted by a strong stench and sleeping baby lying amongst puddles of vomit. James said,"Oh my God. It's like a drunk person in here." I almost got sick cleaning it up ... literally gagging.
Oh - and some new words. Heart, boat, tree, hat, cat, and ho. And in case you think we listen to questionable music in our household, I'll clarify that "ho" means monkey in Chinese.

i remember when we woke up one morning and saw Carlos in a puddle of vomit. totally gross...and scary.

omg is that Stitch in amongst the toys? 'meet the fockers kid' hahaha that's funny...he should consider a career in films. Cheers!

I had a 24 hour stomach bug on Halloween so I feel for lil Zach...poor baby. Hope he's better now.
Halloween sounds like it went so well. And Zachary seems to have went from not speaking to learning handful of words overnight! I felt so sad when you described the sleeping baby and puddle of vomit scene though... I hope he won't be getting those pesky flus often.
Time to cut his bangs again. I love the way he looks like "too-short" bangs. Dumb and Dumberererer.
that is so cute...that is funny what ur hubby said...my daughter got that flu a few months ago and my hubby is the one who saw her lying in a puddle and he said his heart stop beating for a while freaking out...he said its like a scene from The Exorcist....
I don't know what it is, but Baby vomit reeks worse than adult vomit.... Maybe it's just that a majority of their diet is milk? I dunno, but I don't like the smell of it either....
Is it hard to teach baby's signing?
i think he knows more words than those. i see derogatory words within his blocks.
I didn't know that ho = monkey in Chinese! That's a new one for me.
Anyway, I like to check out the ho's every time I go to Vegas.
At the Southern Nevada Zoological-Botanical Park, I mean.
I was about to say.... ho? Looks like Zachary is growing so much! I can't wait until our little one is at Zach's age...
awww...sounds like he had fun trick or treating!
he is getting so big, and he looks so adorable in that costume! poor guy being so sick! i am glad that it only lasted 24 hours! hopefully he doesnt get sick like that again for awhile.
