  • It's been 2 weekends since I last posted! The first weekend, a group of girls and I went to Aioli's for dinner in Sacramento and then to the musical Mama Mia! It was fun - my sisters took me to see Mama Mia a few years back, but it was definitely worth seeing again. This past weekened I volunteered for Engineering Awareness Program, which is a half day of labs for high school girls, to encourage them to consider engineering fields. Later that same weekend, Zachary and I got sick ... fevers. We're both on the mend though and plan to be 100% better by this weekend.

And guess what? I've started Christmas shopping. I've been buying online for years, but always thought it was nice to get out to the mall for the holiday music, decoration, and hustle/bustle . I've since realized I have no patience for bad traffic, slow lines, and flustered, error-prone cashiers. Or worse yet, a chatty cashier. (Thank goodness Walmart now has a self-checkout line.) My husband was right. Shopping online is the only way to go. Zachary has reindeer Robeez. That's holiday spirit enough for now!

More words are coming out.  Oh-oh, dot, buh (bus), bah (bat), shoo-shoo (tissue), chay (chair), baa (back), kai (open), gee (chicken), and DADA! After all I have done for him ... no mama?!

  • reindeer Robeez?! how festive! hope you both feel better soon!

  • hmm i sense that Zachary will be shoe guy...I think you are slowly converting him!!!! you know I never got the chance to actually get into the whole Robeez frenzy otherwise I'd probably go crazy shopping for Robeez shoes...mine is Uggs..(its the only thing besides sandals that he'll put on otherwise he'd be barefeet during the cold seasons!)

I'm with you on the "mama" deal.. Nathan said I love you to his DAD first...i was a bit jealous! you think it'd be us since we spend so much with them..but no...

    have a good weekend!

  • Don't worry, Zachary will be saying, "Mama" soon enough, and then that's all you'll hear is "Mama, can I... this" and "Mama, can I... that". :)   Oh yes, holiday time SOUNDS festive enough, but it really is a riot out there.  I am doing my holiday shopping online too.  And forget the holiday sale days, those will be even worse.

(I love those pics of baby and Daddy flying and wrestling.  Somehow little kids figure out exactly what games to play with each parent, and with Dads, it's commonly some form of monster attack or rough-housing.  So cute!)

  • zach is so cute! i know what ur saying...my daugther can't even say mama...she can say a lot of words for a while now even the word dad (ta-tay) in my language fluently to "spun-bah" (sponge bob) and "ten-tie" (thank you) but no mama...she actually calls me "gache" as in my name....hope u guys feel better!

  • Mmmmmm... Aiolis.  Yumm!!!!!  Mr. Zach is growing soooo fast!!  He is soo cuute!!

Don't worry, Mama will come out soon.  James didn't say Ma till after Daaaaa.

    Happy Christmas shopping!

  • don't worry.

he'll end up being closer to his mama in the end. = )

  • im thinking of christmas shopping this weekend....i want to get it done by thanksgiving weekend....hehehehe.

awwww....zachary is learning more and more.

  • I guess I can't be too greedy, one of Ricky's first words was Mama...  Muahahah... No daddy yet.. hee hee

I'm starting to do all my shopping online.. It just makes more sense that way.. Especially with free shipping!! :)

  • My boss's daughter calls everyone "dada".  I hope Zachary picks up mama soon!

  • He called me Ka Ka. Twice. The same word he uses for elephant.

  • Has Zachary's hair always been that light colored? The older he gets, the more I think he resembles you!

  • Awww, he's saying the best for last.

Johnnie said mommy 1st but he likes his dad better b/c he lets him get away w/things ALWAYS.

HAHA, so my last name(Gee) sounds chicken in Mandarin...haha, in Cantonese, it sounds like pig.

Alrighty then, have a great weekend.

  • I'm 25 years old, and I still cannot say my own name properly. Let's see how long it takes HIM!

  • Ah- seeing him on that trike brings warmth to my shriveled bitter little hearts.

  • The Graeber family is perpetually sick. I am steering clear.

  • NFL jerseys supply perhaps the most principal matter is the feature of the printing. By and large, authentic jerseys are better silkscreen-printed. Even for soccer jerseys, the standard of the printing indicates the value. Do you furthermore mght need the design to be imprinted? rubberized? Most of these may be arranged.
