• Okay - here's a recap of our busy weekend! Friday night, we drove down to the San Mateo to visit my sisters (and their boyfriends). The next morning, 2 moms from my online mom's group came to visit with their toddlers. Simon's mom put out some Gerber puffs and goldfish. Simon tried to hand a puff to Zachary, but Zachary leaned down and ate it directly from Simon's hand. Like an animal! Then when Simon turned around, Zachary ate all the food - glunk, glunk, glunk. Natalie and his little brother Owen were there too ... both very happy and outgoing kids!

  
  

   

  
  

   

  
  

  After they left we opened presents. Zach scored some books, a CD, 2 pairs of shoes, and a wooden puzzle. James got pillow covers, the Family Guy DVD, and a slow cooker cook book. I also received some books and a pair of jeans. My sisters got a mix of CDs and kitchenware from us.

  
  

    

  
  

    

  
  

  My sisters made a Holiday feast. It was very good - they never really cooked when they lived with me, so I was pleasantly surprised.   Sunday, we went to Megan's 3rd birthday at Sunsplash. All the other kids were happy to throw the Skeeball and let it roll back down. I have a naughty boy on my hands - he wanted to actually score! (A better mom would have pulled her son down, but I have the same goal oriented personality, so I just watched to make sure he didn't fall off.) Happy 3rd Birthday Megan! Oh, and that last picture is from one of the two work holiday parties we went to this year, both with gift exchanges - I didn't end up keeping the football. I don't even remember what I ended up with ... I probably ate it already.
