The weekend we got back from Austin, James’ parents came to visit. During the day, we went to Picture People to get photographs taken. I used to go all the time when I was a stay-at-home-mom and just get the one free picture. I was shocked when I saw people ring up $100 in purchases. Now I’ve become one of those people – we never just get the one free picture anymore because of the drive and time involved. We even sprung for the *gasp* more expensive black and whites … which, by the way, still doesn’t make sense to me.
Maybe one day I’ll loosen the purse strings even more and actually get professional photographs taken, as opposed to digital mall pictures. haha.In the evening, we invited some friends over for dinner and Wii games. Monday night, I went to book club – it’s a wonder I haven’t been kicked out considering I haven’t read a single book since Zachary was born. Tuesday evening, we went to Chuck E Cheese for Dave Jr’s birthday party – where Zachary ended up having only cake for dinner. Happy 3rd Birthday Dave!
On Thursday (today), my division took the day off and went on the Napa Wine Train. I went a few years ago and remember thinking that the food was just okay – it was really good this time! It was especially nice to see my Santa Clara coworkers.

cute studio pics! he’s grown so quickly…
he’s really growing up and beginning to look more like dad!
love the family portrait!
I like these pictures. You look really happy. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but isn’t there something weird about picture #3? Does Zachary have scoliosis?
Somthing strange about your colleagues – looks like one likes to howl and another smuggles wine.
wow…… can’t believe how handsome he had become, i remember seeing pictures of your baby boy and look how fast he grow up! Love your pictures!
