A short entry … last Saturday, we had Zachary’s friend Gavin over for a playdate/lunch. And in the evening, we went to Dana and Dave’s house for dinner and games. The highlight was getting to see Jason sit up all by himself!
On Sunday, we went to Megan’s birthday party – it was held at a bounce arena. This kids loved it, and the adults got some exercise as well! I saw a few of my HP friends that I haven’t seen in a long time. HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY MEGAN!
Zachary’s latest favorite activity is building things … Wedgits, Lincoln Logs, marble runs, tracks, K’Nex … anything. He seems to be taking a break from his previous obsession with letters and numbers, reading/writing.
Zachary now has a ‘big boy’ room. Less than 3 months away from his 4th birthday, we finally moved him out of his crib. He has a matching bedroom set – full bed with twin trundle (sleepover anyone?), desk, dresser, and end table. And I purchased a Pottery Barn Kids quilt last week on sale at more than 50% off! He transitioned very smoothly – stays in bed and doesn’t fall out. (Of course it’s only been 2 nights … so knock on wood.)

No, I think you’re lying. There’s no way that the highlight of your Saturday evening was getting to see Jason sit.

Zach’s room looks more elegant and mature than mine. I guess I should take off those glow-in-the-dark stars from my ceiling. And get rid of my Grover quilt.
He looks big now from the last time I visit your blog. Nice bedroom.
