  • 20 weeks… halfway there … crazy!

21 weeks … I’m feeling her kick on a regular basis now … usually after I eat something, which is often!

And UGH. The worst teleconference this morning. For some reason I thought it was fine to call in from home while Zachary ate breakfast and played by himself. James gave him too little food, and as soon as I  called in, Zachary walked into my office. He stood next to me, but was silent, just looking at my laptop.

Meeting starts…it’s a bunch of serious guys I don’t know that well. We do a roll call.

Man #1: Sudhansu here from Bangalore.

    Man #2: Jaybal

    Me: Jennifer

Zachary: and also Mama and also Jen … and Jen rhymes when Hen!

    *silence*

I could not find that mute button fast enough! Zachary then starts talking to me so I can’t even hear anyone at the meeting. On mute, I tell Zachary,”I’m in a meeting, please stop talking to me.” Zachary looks at me and says,”I am NOT talking to you. I am talking to the baby in your belly!” I had to drag him out of my office and sit him down with a slice of cheese and 2 cereal bars to finish my teleconference. For sure, next time, James is going to take him to preschool if I have a morning meeting. He’s too unpredictable – he can sometimes be calm and quiet, but other days (like today) he’s chatty and interactive.

Oh and yesterday … we found him sleeping in a tent instead of his bed. Not on his nice new full sized bed. Not even on the trundle. But in a $15 Target tent.

  • it’s more fun sleeping in a tent. if i had a tent in my bedroom, i would still do the same thing.  :)

  • He’s cute!

I think I would sleep in tent too, at that age it feels more fun to sleep in tent then on bed.

  • As an adult and being within walking distance of my bed, I’ve chosen to sleep on the couch, the kitchen bench, and the driver seat of my car.  As a child, I always slept in my bed.  I hope that gives you hope.

  • In your belly pictures, I’m slightly confused by the 2 indentations.  I know the bottom one is the navel.  But what is the top one?

  • I wondered the same question as SporadicCommenter. I just figured you had low cleavage. Very very low cleavage.
