  • 3..2..1 Blastoff! We launched rockets last weekend. The first launch landed our rocket in a small pine tree, and was recovered by James. The 2nd launch landed it in a huge tree, which became it's final resting place. James then launched a rocket he saved for over 20 yrs - it split into two parts and one part was lost forever.

Later that Saturday, we went to the grand opening of a new bridge with Dylan and his parents. It was a 2 hr walk across the bridge with a few activity booths at the end. Zachary scored a number of coloring books and climbed on a fire engine. It was a very nice, clear day!

On Sunday, we went out for lunch at The Cheesecake Factory and got portraits taken of the kids at the mall. As usual, my kids were questionably behaved and the pictures were just okay. The bright side was that we got to meet up with Dana while we were at the mall!

And as of April 1st, Miss Calie is now 8 months old! She's added bananas and blueberries to her repertoire, and she now has 2 teeth (1 top, 1 bottom).
