•                                                THE SHOWER!!!  

  
  

  My shower was great! It was hosted by my 2 sisters and MIL. It was a champagne lunch at a restaurant, and we played some interesting games:

  
  

  1. Guessing brands and prices of baby items

  
  

  2. Guessing my week based on my belly pictures (my friend who is an ob/gyn doctor won.)

  
  

  3. Guessing candy bars, which were smashed and microwaved in a diaper. (my sister won – she’s a big candy and cookie kind of gal.)

  
  

  4. Game where they guessed what gifts I got.

  
  

  I had three friends fly in from across the country – Vermont, Texas, and Colorado! (I live in CA) Plus there were quite few people from the Bay Area (2-3 hours drive.) I was really happy they could all make it. I love my friends!

  
  

      

  
  

  The favors… a decorated vanilla candle. And the cake … which looked 10x better before it melted!

  
  

    

  
  

  Gifts and table set up … my sisters bought tealight holders at IKEA and the restaruant provided custom made menus. We sprinkled rose petals on the table.

  
  

  

  
  

  Group shot, which also shows layout of restaurant. We had our own private room, but it was a bit crowded. I expected 20 people at first, but got 28 ‘Yes’ RSVPs. It was great to be surrounded by so many people.
