For those who know what it means…
I’m 70% effaced and 1 cm dialated. My pelvis is open and the doctor could feel his head, although he could not tell me if the baby had hair or not. My due date is 3/29, which is only 4 days away. Baby Zachary has a deadline of 4/5 or else I am going to get induced!

Wow you are getting so close!! Any day now…GL and best wishes that Delivery Day comes soon!! You are so cute, you are so tiny still!! LOL I think my belly is almost as big as yours and I’m not due till June! This is #2 for me, though, so she better not be late!
wow, only 4 more days but chances are zachary won’t cooperate with mama and come out when you least expect it. if you feel some strong cramping like you have to take a “dump” than it may be time to rush to the hospital. that was how i felt right before and during labor(all natural by the way).

the doctor could feel its head? i’m confused!! isn’t the baby in like…the placenta? and what do you mean you’re going to get induced? how do they induce you to give birth??? i’m so confused! i need answers to these questions right away!

Hi Spencer (aka butt) - The Dr said he could feel the head … maybe from outside the uterus (e.g. a bulge?) He said for sure the baby is head down and ready to be delivered any day. To induce someone, you get a IV (or shot?) of a chemical called pitocin (it also natural occurs in the body and is what triggers labor). I have heard that when you are induced, labor is faster, but harder (more painful) compared to naturally going into labor yourself.

wow! you are so tiny. i would have died to look like that when i was prego. no stretch marks..you don’t even know how lucky you are. =+) i was huge!!!!!! my son was almost three weeks early and weighed 7-14. he was a biggin! oh, btw, where did u get that worm? that is awesome. my baby loves worm toys and has a million but nothing like that. well, good luck to you. hope that baby comes soon.
You never know….it may not, keep your heart and mind open for that fact….BUT no matter how long, or how much pain your indure. IT IS ALL WORTH IT WHEN YOU SEE THAT FACE!! :HAPPY:

Hey! Congrats! I bet next time we hear from you, your baby will be here! My doctor said “Oh, you have a long way to go! You’ll be here a few weeks” And of course, he was totally wrong and that weekend, Abby was born. It was Memorial Day and he was on vacation, so I KNEW it woul dhappen then! Good lkuck!
