So my due date came and passed (edd 3/29). I just came back from the Drs and I have made no progress at all (except gaining 3 lbs – ooops… 40 lbs total now…). Still 1 cm dialated and 70% effaced. Baby has not dropped yet. But my blood pressure and the baby seems to be doing fine. So the Dr is not doing to schedule a 4/5 induction – we’re going to wait until around 4/8 because that is one week from the LATEST due date calculated. (My due dates ranged from 3/29-3/31 depending on the LMP vs. the first U/S vs. the second U/S.)
So I guess, just sit back, relax and keep on collecting disability pay ….
Oh and maybe stop eating so much junk food. 40lbs is a lot considering I was not skinny to begin with. I think I need to improve my lifestyle also – yesterday I went to get a manicure/pedicure, and the salon had Jerry Springer on TV (I choose very classy places.) I was strangely drawn to watching it and ended up staying an extra half hour to finish the trashy show.

You look like you are a tiny little thing! I wouldn’t worry about the weight. Everyone has to work at losing it, but don’t worry, you will.

you will lose the weight – i was so sick in pregnancy i had lost 2lb straight after the birth lol – only gained about 7lb the whole way and she was 7lb 6 lolol

Also – walking around may get you started, sex they say – or a hot curry (eew) – i was induced on 40+1days there she was at 40+3days

And i looked back at your beginning pictures and thought you looked really thin. 40 lbs was how much I gained with my first one and I lost 33 in the hospitable, which was great!

i’m sure the weight will come off easily, look at it this way, 10 lbs. is from the baby and the aminotic sac and the swelling adds on some weight too…so you didn’t really gain 40 lbs.

lol!! i love me some trashy tv sometimes…..its addicting.
anyways, just try to relax and enjoy your last few days before he comes. he will be here soon enough!! just do lots and lots of walking (i walked TWO malls and had rachael a day later…i also ate mexican and scrubbed the house…). anyways, lots of walking is always good, and its healthy!! anyways, ive rambled on enough. im still sending you easy labor vibes! you are gonna be a MOMMA soon!! oh my goodness. you are so skinny- i can’t imagine what u were like before….i was like 108 when i got preg and because of gestational diabetes i gained 80 pounds! i was miserable. so 40- that’s gonna be easy to get off. don’t worry about that!

what a great site…. i love all the pics. i have an 8 month old daughter alyssa, and she was 6 days late – but those 6 days felt like 6 months, I wanted to climb the walls! hope little zachary doesn’t keep you waiting too much longer. oh and i agree, you look like a model in the wedding pic – stunning!
