Milestone day! Zachary is scooting! It’s very slow, but he uses his legs to push his butt in the air, and then crawls forward with his arms. Zachary’s favorite game is to roll a ball back and forth. He thinks its the funniest thing and laughs hysterically.

This week, we went to a BBQ in San Francisco (Spencer’s birthday). I also went to a nice bridal shower at a tea room – it’s great that Zachary can eat solids now because I was able to go while my husband took care of him. This week’s mom’s group was at my house today…hectic, but fun. I think there were over 20 moms with babies!

On a sad note, my sister moved out. Zachary says “Sophie, come back and play with me! Don’t you remember how fun it was? I promise I’ll let you wear the turtle costume next time.”

2 weeks. Be back for him in 2 weeks. I have his photo on my nightstand so I can look at him before I go to bed each night. I think I need another one for my cubicle.

Wow..Sophie is a selfish bitch for leaving Zachary at such a critical time of his life. The scooting-time.
That’s one reason I was so willing to start Derek on solids. It’s nice to not having to be there all the time.
