Another fun week. We went to a book signing party – someone from my mom’s group has a friend who just published her first book ‘Ciao Bambino’, and we went to support her by purchasing a copy!

This weekend, I went to my sisters’ holiday party. We decorated cookies, ate lots of appetizers, and participated in a white elephant gift exchange. We brought junk and made out with some pretty nice stuff … almost worth the 6.5 hour round trip drive.
I got to see my Sophie’s new place and meet an online friend too. Last, but not least, Zachary can walk! Well, he has to hold on to his walker toy, but his record so far is 24 steps.

Regarding the previous commenter who assessed that the butt crack belongs to sofichan: she has quite obviously never seen sofichan’s butt crack before, because that ain’t it.

you were nice and didn’t post the MANY other pictures you took of the ass-crack. i think you definitely had more entertaining ones, but you took the high road. good for you. i feel lucky to have seen the good ones. =) it was nice seeing you and your family again! Zachary is so much fun to play with.

zachary looks sooooo cute in that blue and green rugby shirt! just out of curiosity, did you guys give him a chinese name? if so, is it part of his legal name? i’m asking because i’m thinking of doing that for my future kids.
People always think that my son is 7 or 8 months old but he is really 13 months. He growth is really slow, he’s 13 months and weighs 18lbs 13oz. He’s diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy which cause seizure disorders and he doesn’t have the ability to suck or swallow so he’s fed through a feeding tube. Cerebral Plasy is caused by damaged to the brain during delivery. My son was stuck for 5 hours and he stopped breathing at one point.
He gains weight very slowly but he’s getting there. Cerebral Palsy causes him lacking to sit, walk, or talk so it’s real hard for me and him.
Your son is so adorable. Cherish every moment because they grow so fast!

I am still memorized by the buttcrack…..
The reason for the complications was because the doctor wasn’t coaching me through the labor, it was just a nurse and I didn’t even know. When I was pushing, she kept on saying that she didn’t want me to have a c-section not knowing why, and as for me, it was my first pregnancy so I didn’t know anything about labor and delivery. So after 5 hours of pushing, the actual doctor came in and sent to to have an emergency c-section. Now I have a lawsuit filed towards the hospital.
Yeah, it’s hard at times but I enjoy every single moment when I am with my son, he is the reason that I am happy ;D
