I've determined that people who use slings, LOVE them. We have a Baby Bjorn Active ... the darn thing cost us $120 and is complicated as heck to use (so many straps!) The weight limit is 25 pounds. Anyway, I was talking to some moms about it, and I now have THREE slings. Two are borrowed, and someone from my on-line mom's group sent me hers (it's brand new but too big for her ... fits me fine!)
1. New Native (cream colored) 2. Moby wrap (red) 3. Over the Shoulder Baby Holder (blue w/yellow stars and moons)
Which one do you like best?

The red one---it just looks more sturdy.
I never used a sling, just the traditional Chinese version "meh dai."
i like the red one too!
I think the maya wrap looks more comfortable. You look more balanced and you're not leaning as much. I used the baby bjorn and a nojo sling with our first baby. With this next baby I'm going to go with a mei tai/ asian baby carrier.

I have the third one in the picture and I absolutely loved them and so did James!
The red one is more like what my culture (Mien/Chinese) uses. It's wrapped around the same way. I think you'll like that one better.
hehe I think the consensus so far is the red, and i agree bc it looks more supported and therefore more comfortable for Zachary and your back. But yet Zachary looks so super comfy and happy in #1 hehe like he's hiding in mommy's pouch : ) kute!

I like the red one, but ultimately it's which one you find most comfy... the moon one is cool too. The native looks easiest to use though *shrugs* not much help huh?

What exactly are you going for? Comfort? or simplicity? If comfort, i say red one... BUt if simplicity, 1 or 3
#1 kind of looks like Grandma's bra. #2 reminds me of a catering/delivery/vending bag -- doesn't the pizza delivery guy wear one of those? Or the dude who hands out Cracker Jacks at baseball games? I'd have to go with #3.

wow~ they all look really great...BUT which one do you like best? and which one does Zachary like best? i have one that sorta looks like the one in the first pic (it's the one Courtney Cox uses!).
The second one looks most comfortable for you. Which is most important. But I think Zach is funny in the first one. So if you want to be funny, use the first one.
Hmm, red is top choice, because the baby looks cozy. The cream colored one is mighty cute, but Zachary does look cramped in there (but oh so snuggly at the same time). Although... the blue flowery one does look most practical... Heh, that's wasn't so useful of an opinion, huh? Didn't exactly narrow down any!
the red one looks the most complicated, but is also most comfortable and sturdy for both you and zachary. The first one looks like it might stunt zach's growth and give him funny walks later. =)
p.s. i don't like the plastic round hooks on the third one. Looks like they could break easily.
Adorable baby still! I was going to get one of those slings but decided not to. They look painful.
