  • Happy 7 months (3/1) to Calie!

Since my last post, we’ve added carrots and prunes to her repertoire of foods. Unfortunately, she decided she’s over peas … but we can still get her to eat them when we mix it with oatmeal and/or prunes. On the physical front, she’ll get up on her hands and knees and rock a bit as if she’s going to crawl forwards ... but nope, still backwards. And as of today (3/6), our little girl has a tooth! Right before she turned 7 months, I could feel her bottom tooth below the gums and today you can actually see it.

The past weekend was very low key. Which is exactly what I want these days – I’m pretty exhausted with Calie waking up multiple times at night. Plus, I just want to spend more time hanging out with the kids now that I’m back working full time. I took Zachary and Calie to the mall on Saturday, while James stayed home to complete refinancing paperwork. We took pictures, browsed a few stores (Zachary got a hammerhead shark sweater), ate lunch at the food court, played in the indoor park, and did a free art project. I was expecting better sales given the economy, but it seems the stores just have less inventory.

On the work front ... lots of fun activities since we're going to be ridiculously busy soon. We went out for Thai food and Coldstone ice cream ... and yesterday, we went bowling for our team builder. I showed my team "how it's done" by scoring a 97 .

  • One thing that there's not enough of in this collection of photos is the color pink.

  • It's funny and sad at the same time that Zachary curls up into fetal position allowing his sister to bite him to smithereens.

  • Just a few months ago, my nine-month-old niece was doing the awkward (but oh-so-amusing!) backward crawl.  It really is fascinating to watch their little brains turning as they try to figure out what to do with their limbs.

  • Is that biting, or forceful kissing? Super cute in any case =)

  • Zachary sure puts up with a lot of her rough-housing
