Hi – Hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving! We had a very busy and fun one, with lots of guests over at our place. On Wednesday night, my parents flew in from the east coast. The next day, my aunt and cousins came over for Thanksgiving dinner.
The day after, we had a crab feast dinner. My husband’s best friend and his extended family came over. They have a baby who’s 1.5 months younger than Zachary. He’s a really good baby – he rarely cries, naps and eats well, and plays by himself. Zach on the other hand…

Zachary likes to eat sweet potatoes! He did not like the pomelo helmet, even after we heated it up in the microwave. I think it threw him off balance.

Saturday, my in-laws came over for lunch. When they left, we went shopping … I got a very comfortable pair of Clarks at Nordstorm Rack. They are totally mom-shoes … solid and not at all sexy!

On Sunday, my dad’s friend and her extended family came over for a casual lunch. Afterwards, we went to the symphony to hear her son played the piano. For dinner, we all went to a seafood restaurant in Sacramento. My sister lost $3 on a bet … but got to see our guest of honor eat the innards of a pigeon’s head.
Xiao Ding Dong (aka Zachary) scored a lot of loot – so many clothes, 2 stuffed animals, a stacking toy, and an instrument set. In terms of milestones, he’s learned to throw and pull himself up to a standing position. (So yes, he’ll pull himself up on a bookshelf or changing table and throw everything off!) And today, after my parents left, he walked while holding on to a coffee table.
He is growing up way too fast!
Goodbye, mom and dad – see you next year! (I’ll end this entry with some family pictures taken at the mall on Friday)

So adorable. I love him in the roaster!!! I can’t wait to have a dining room table. I keep telling Mike I can’t wait to have a formal dining room.

I agree with heliebellie, you have the cutest baby boy. My silly sisters are only having cute, adorable girls.I feel so slightly deprived considering I only have sisters too. =) Luv the roast-baby pic though.

You sure did alot this past weekend, is that at your house? It’s nice you have room for a table that big? Great pictures, Zachary is so cute in the roaster. Glad your parents got to see him. I love the family pictures too, everyone looks so nice.

WHOA big family reunion, awww Zachary is a kutie pie as always, I love the pic with him in the box with the stuff animal, his expression screams ‘I may look kute and innocent, but I got you all fooled PUaHAhAHAH.’ Super adorable. And as always the 3 lovely looking sisters are looking hot!
Your family is sooo dang cute! It looks like you had a blast for Thanksgiving, and I’m glad that you got to see your family. Holidays just aren’t the same when they aren’t around. I’m starting to worry about our baby growing up so fast already- and he isn’t even here yet LOL. My husband picks out all these very grown up clothes for him, and it just gets me all sad, and I tell him he needs to slow down. Let me enjoy him being a little baby in my cute outfits I pick out for him LOL! I know they are only little for a small amount of time so why make them more grown up than they need to be? I’m just emotional, but still. One minute they’re tiny babies who need you for *everything*, and the next they start walking and want their independence. …sigh… I guess you can always have more if you miss the baby stages too bad
Wow, you have such a nice looking family! It looks like Zachary had a load of fun this holliday. I love the pomelo helmet! He’s such a cutie! Did you cook all those crabs? If you did, you must be one heck of a cook!

I cant believe Mr.Xiao Ding Dong got so many things on Thanksgiving—he’s going to be piled high with goodies for Xmas.

xiao ding dong! did you watch xiao ding dong cartoons when you were little? i used to LOVE them and i had little xiao ding dong sneakers, socks, hair barrettes, you name it! i love the picture of zachary with the stuffed animal…he looks so mischevious!

$15 for one pic?!!! That is pricey but I agree, I think you will be suckered into Christmas pics this year…it is Zachary’s 1st.
For the grandparents’ sakes, ya know?!! 
When my son turned 100 days old, my in-laws went all out and bought a $160 package(more ppl in the pics, the more expensive) and enlarged the best pic of him and hung it up in their bedroom.
Those places sure know how to make money….the prices are outrageous.
