HAPPY 8 MONTHS to ZACHARY! He turned 8 months on December 6th. I haven't been posting lately because I've been sick. Well, it's the cough I get every year that lasts 2 months. I'm not sure I am really sick because no one else ever gets it ... maybe I just need to buy a humidifier.

We've been playing at Toys 'R Us. They have a train table ($200) and cars ($299) that are ridiculously expensive and would not fit in our house. I figure ... why buy the toys when I can just drive over and play with them there? (This is similar to going to the book store, reading travel books, and taking notes on a pad of paper.You know who you are.)
My mom taught Zachary how to hand people items. Now he is constantly giving me things ... tissues, paper, blocks. Stuff I don't want. But I can't reject them, because he is very persistent and will insist that I hold it. He will also snatch something out of my hand, and then hand it back to me. Arggg. Thanks, Mom.... (That last picture of Zachary reminds me of my dad telling a story - usually with some embellishments and exaggerations.)

Ah, I always get coughs that last a hella long time. It's awful. That's what I always dread about getting sick - the months-long cough that remains afterwards.

your baby is soooooo cute. i've always thought the asian-caucasian mixes made real attractive people. hopefully my future kids will be too since my fiance is caucasian and i'm chinese. did your parents have a hard time with the inter-racial marriage? my parents are just starting to accept us.
That reminds me...I need to go to Borders to "browse" Cabos books.
btw - he is getting large and in charge.

OMG, Zachary is so adorable and his hair is getting so long in the front. Is it the lighting or is his hair brown?
Johnathan does almost the same thing as Zachary---instead of handing me things, he says something over and over again...aka louder as he goes on until I repeat it.
Babies can be so grouchy.
BTW, maybe you just have a dry cough---my FIL coughs and clears his throat everytime he comes over---drives me nuts.
yea I always get that cough too...AND it DOES last 2 months..nothin' u can do really except persist with it..until it decides to go away.

That's a great idea for those big toys. I'll have to keep that in mind.
I hope you feel better soon. If you do get this every year, you probably do need a humidifier or something. I'm guessing you're not actually sick, but I hope you get "better" all the same.
A friend of mine says that babies are the only people who know the secret of life, becuase their minds are so open. In the last pic, Zachary truly looks like he does have that info for you. Great pics of a very cute young man!!
