Yea! I have a long weekend this week! Hope everyone had a very Happy Valentine’s Day. Sophie came up to Roseville for some Java classes, so she babysat while James and I went out for dinner. I recieved a water bottle, a pair of peridot earrings, and roses at work! In exchange, James got a pair of brown Cole Haans (see picture below).
Here’s Zachary eating fried rice. He’s starting to eat some table foods now. (Note: Corn passes through babies just like they do adults.) James took him to the two Discovery museums in Sacramento on Wednesday. There was a breakfast table with bread and a Chinese pork bun!

His friend Mia came play last weekend. Mia’s mom went back to work the same time I did … and she’s staying home with her dad until she’s one. Just like Zachary!
Much to his father’s dismay, I am posting BATH PICTURES! I love naked babies – I think they are so cute!

i hafta agree with u on that one .. ahha .. reminds me of my own baby photos .. i used to wonder why my parents took pics of me in the shower (pervs!) .. now i totally understand and think i’m gonna do the same to my own kid.

How long has he been eating table foods? My doctor just told me today that I should start trying some with Derek. Cheerios, soft pasta, and mashed potatoes where a few suggestions. Pealed fruit, too. What did you start him on and how long did it take to get to rice?
He seems to HATE fried rice. That look of disgust! Nonetheless, this baby is cute.
Alice almost bought him a coat today from Baby Gap, but some mad woman snatched it out of our hands (yes, literally), took it from us, and bought it. We cursed her out the door. That’s the problem with bargain shoppers…they are so shameless about grabbing and being rude. I bet that would have never happend in a “fancy” store. Like Robeez.
Sorry Zachary. Next time we will fight harder for your honor. Today, we were swindeled.
i’m with the zach-daddy on this issue.
i can’t think of anything good coming from future friends possibly posessing pictures of him sucking his thumb, naked, in a bathtub.
on the other hand, if he plays his cards right, maybe he can turn this to his favor. like when his teachers ask the class for their most embarassing moment, he can say, “when my mom posted naked pictures of me on the internet. it was terrible. i’ll never work in those conditions again.”
