Zachary waved "good-bye" for the first time last Sunday. We had brunch with some friends after gym class, and he waved good-bye to them! I spent much of the long weekend shopping. There were so many good deals on kids clothes and toys. I really held back though, because he might get a lot of clothes/toys/books for his 1st birthday. I have the party invitations and favors done. His Amazon wish list is updated, although I'm telling people not to get gifts - he really has too much of everything.
Oh - and did anyone notice (top pics)? New shoes! He finally outgrew his 6-12 month Robeez. Should I bronze them or is that totally crazy? I guess preparing for an April birthday party in February is pretty crazy too. Can you tell he's an only child?

I think you should bronz the old ones. Just think how much his kids will want to see them. I remember when I saw my Mom's shoes. It's an old tradition I'd like to see come back.
You're right about my doctor. She shouldn't be giving that kind of advice. I never really thought about it until you said something, but I think you're right.
Bronzing is a good idea----I should have thought about that with Johnnie's 1st shoes. They are so worn and the eyes are missing...shoes his grandparents bought him from Korea....I only found one the only day.
Zach has gotten so BIG and handsome. Look at him eating....I love his smile. You and your husband made a beautiful baby.

My boyfriend has a pair of his baby shoes bronzed. Those are priceless. I think you should definitely do it.
It's OK -- I'm preparing for MY next birthday party already, and my birthday is in the fall! And I'm not even an only child. Although I AM a narcissist.

Is that grey overalls outfit dark at the top rim as a style or is it always drenched in saliva? In all pictures of him wearing that, it is dark in that area.
